Members AmpliFIRE
I've got a Blue/cream FDII with the 3 way toggle that I really like. How does the new Mosfet verzion compare? I mainly use the FDII as a clean-ish boost with a Boogie MKIIC+ and a Splawn Quickrod. Thanks!

Members J.LaGrassa
For the most part your FD-2 should be about the same as the Mosfet version using the regular toggle positions, I just picked up a FD-2 Mosfet and really like the Mosfet position a lot you get a more open sound to it with a little kick in the low end and some added presence compared to the std toggle mode. Members guitarchris
If you are using the COMP CUT mode there is no need to get the mosfet, as that setting takes away the clipping stage. This dif between the two is cool in the vintage and FM setting, if you love your FD2 you will love the mosfet just a little more! It was woth the extra dough to me and I already had two FD-2's around!
