Members Bunny Manfurr
www.myspace.com/girlfriendexperience Yes, the time has come for The Girlfriend Experience to load up the Cliff Burton Suite and hit the road once again. We kick off our tour TONIGHT Wednesday May 3rd at The Blank Club in San Jose. Due to a minor production snag, our album, When In Rome...Do As The Lions, will be delayed by a few weeks. Expect to see a late June/early July release and accompanying tour not too long after that. In the meantime, I hope to see many of you at one or more of our upcoming tour dates May 3rd - June 3rd (see below for details) which features shows with Michael Graves (post Danzig Misfits frontman), Agent Orange (surf punk legends) and our WELCOME HOME SHOW with Mondo Generator (featuring Nick Oliveri from Queens Of The Stone Age and Kyuss). Also...there's been an extra date added to the tour! Monday, May 15th at The Speakeasy in Yakima WA. Show starts at 8pm. See you all soon! Members RoboPimp
does the income from a tour like that work out pretty well? Enough that you don't need a regular job?

I work as a part-time contractor doing web stuff...hopefully by this time next year I'll be able to quit doing that all together.

Members RoboPimp
sounds cool, when I was "on tour" I was the same way always just "breaking even", I never made enough to pay the rent. Now I got a job to pay the bills, three kids and I gig on the weekends to pay for my GAS. I never really had that much fun doing it anyway. Hotel rooms and RVs are not my natural habitat.anyway, I hope you guys kick ass and have fun with no bad "surprises"
Members sense_of_henry
I was lucky, we were in an area where we were the "big show". Made enough to live pretty nice...if I lived somewhere with more competition though, we would have been just breaking even. We were good, but not "that" good.
