Members jonny guitar
On one hand I am rejoicing and have major gas to buy stuff now that it is nice and low; one the other hand I am pissed because most of my gear was purchased from the states when the dollar was at around 70 cents....gonna lose lots on that stuff when I sell it. US guys don't appreciate how large these fluctuations in gear value are when you are dealing in our currency.
Members dopey1978
Amen to that. I'm definitely gonna lose money on some stuff that I bought at $1.40 and now want to get rid of, but on the other hand I'm heading back to Seattle for the second weekend in a row to buy gear! And now I'm shopping on sites (MF, eBay, etc.) and not worrying about exchange rates... this is bad, very bad
Members knspilka
Well, within the last week i have pulled the trigger on 3 pieces of kit from the states I never would have otherwise. Canadian prices are still high in stores, so I picked em up down south. Got great deals.

Yeah, Canadian prices are usually too high with the exception of Askandyoushallreceive which has prices equal to the states boys. Don't go too crazy because it is supposed to go to par if the US doesn't get their {censored} together.
Members bassplayinguy
ive been snapping up pedals for 20-30CDN bucks cheaper. The stores around her have them in stock but when its that much money off, its worth the wait. They want close to 150 bucks for a Korg DT-10 Tuner after tax.. if i buy one from the states i can get for just over 100 after duty and shipping. im going state side to go clothes shopping next week! its just not worth spending my money in town when i live right next to an international border (Windsor/Detroit)
Members JeffFlowerday
Why I didn't hit shops in Florida last week, I have no idea. I guess I was just having too much fun in South Beach. I'm definately looking forward to the Canadian dollar hitting par.
