cheap loop samplers

I just want a {censored}ty looper to f around with.Any one know of a reasonable looper that can do layering I might look for on Ebay.Maybee an old digiteck something or other.

by cheap I mean 100 bucks ish.For 200 Id just get the dl4 but it has got to have the all time wost reliability reviews ever.Has anyone read those reviews I mean {censored}in double A!!

Hmm...I don't know what is out there for $100. You can get a Boss DD-5 or something that has the "hold" function that allows for 5 seconds of looping. I would probably pick up a used DD-20 for around $125 used. Tons of delay options and a 23 second looper. I've owned a handful of loopers including 4 DL-4 units (yes they are unreliable pieces of {censored} in my experience) and the DD-20 is my favorite.

for instance, you couldn't record a chorus during a song, turn it off, then turn it back on... can't put delay into your loop... can't effect the loop at all (half speed/reverse on dl4) and can't use my favorite feature of my dl4 and even jamman, the playback once feature, which i use to sample chords and play them back with my feet. lame!

 

i've had 2 dl4s for a long time at a lot of shows and never ever any problems
