Members phishmarisol
I finally got enough patch cables to set up my board tonight. I don't have the pedals velcro'd down yet because I'll be running the cable under eventually. But anyway I noticed that when I turned on certain effects my foot would brush the knobs of another one sometimes. I might just have to wear different shoes, damn my big feet. Members GuyaGuy
i think i may have to go w/ a 2-tier board. i just got this: great board but even with the slant my feet brush the front pedals. and i have small feet! but you know what they say about guys with small feet... small weenies. Members erksin
Two tiers is the way to go, IMO - your feet won't bump the knobs of the lower pedals when switching the upper ones, and you can tuck buffers or power supplies under the shelf... Members phyrexia
Yeah, you gotta be careful. If I wear my Doc Martens I have to tip toe on the switches.
Members decode6
And if I wear my Doc Martens I'll be magically whisked away to 1996.
Members BlurryBoy 13
Yeah I know I would get messed up with two levels so I have almost everything horizontally organized...
Members troubbble
I don't know if I've stumbled onto some secret technique or if I'm about to state something blatantly obvious, but for most of my pedals I can kind of hit them with my heel at a 45 degree angle without really even aiming. It's a lot easier for me than trying to get my toes in there. So try it if you haven't already tried that technique.
Members BlurryBoy 13
...hence "stompboxes" Too much softshoeing around these parts.

Members gambit
i always play without shoes on.. just takes the chance of hitting anything else down a bit. plus it adds to the 'feel' of playing pedals.. just kidding.

Nice to be settled on the other pedals after 3+ years of searching!
Members jbird327
I started taping the knobs down (using gaffer's tape). Not a good look but better than stomping on a boost with the volume turned off.
Members knspilka
Put elastic bands around the pot shafts under the knobs. You can still turn the knobs, but the increased resistance makes it harder to do.
