in this mp3 the guitar has some crazy delay/sustain effect.. i can't quite figure it out and im really intrigued..

very short clip:

ignore the synth/sampler and listen to the higher cascading notes.. its like they are picked, swell in, out and then swell back in and the delay echos the original notes.. its odd.. i can't reproduce it with any of my gear and im not sure what i would need to do this kind of thing..

any help greatly appreciated

What is the parameter name to set that quality - that the delayed signal is louder than the dry? most delays i've found have two or three parameters, and no combo will deliver this result.

yeah, usually it's labelled "MIX." if i does 100% wet then the delayed signal will be stronger than the dry one if you turn the MIX knob past 12 o'clock.

aeonrevolution, no it can't. :(
one of its shortcomings. there are solutions though if you read the DD-20 lounge! basically you need a vol pedal for the dry signal out or a looper pedal with a level knob.

thanks guys. i'll try to find a price-reasonable delay that offers 100% wet.. if not i will read up on the volume pedal idea.

in the mean time, i've sent an e-mail to my 401k administrator advising that i am cashing out to buy several pedals this weekend.
