Members butterknucket
Hey Zach, I'm planning on picking up a Vexter Fuzz Factory very shortly. I have a feeling it will go over well in the, um, "Church" band I play in, ha!
Members SpectralJulian
Wait, I have a real question. My music is all really creepy sounding, which Zvex effects lend best to creepy sounding music? Not industrial or gothic rock mind you, more Creepy in the way that some Pixies songs sound kind of creepy.
Members BlurryBoy 13
Probably the Tremorama or Lofi Loop Junky. I would go with Tremorama though, it looks way cooler. Potentially creepy mysterious city skyline.

Members SpectralJulian
Yeah, I did Seifukusha. I like your stuff a lot. My stuff is sort of creepy in a different way. Listen to Gunslinger and Science Fiction on my myspace page www.myspace.com/jsdunnmusicWhat genre would you say I am? The recordings are kind of crappy- I find it harder to nail vocals when overdubbing, I was using crappy mics and a 4 track from hell that I borrowed. I can't wait til I can get a Tascam 414. Although I could have mixed them better. The vocals could have been lower in the mix on Science fiction especially and the guitar higher. My youtube practice video has much better levels. Members trucks
I'd ask him about how he got started just to hear the story in person. Great and entertaining story which was my favorite part of Analogman's book.

Members Lanefair
I'd ask him to make a pedalcase like the Boss and Dano ones, but for ZVEX pedals. Hand painted of course. No wait, I'd ask him to make a super duper with an fx loop in it. No wait, I'd ask him for lots of freebies No wait, I'd ask him for a job. No wait... No that's it. Members zachary vex
Originally posted by fernmeister i would ask for a resturant recomendation... oh, that's very easy. you can always do well on the coasts with sushi... in Minneapolis i'd recommend Nami on Thursday nights after 8pm, when the fresh fish arrives after being driven directly from the plane. ask for the fatty part of the hamachi... it's incredible. you can usually only get a few pieces out of it, maybe two servings. it's like hamachi toro. another fish that is just stunning when ultra-fresh is the Aji... it's Japanese Mackerel and it's very tiny so they filet it right at the sushi bar. you should order a whole one so you aren't getting one that was already sitting out for a while cut open... you'll get about 4 pieces of nigiri out of it but i recommend eating it as sashimi, with a little ponzu sauce instead of soy. one would expect mackerel to be a stinky bait fish, which many breeds are, but Japanese mackerel is light and delicate and has wonderful subtle flavors that are not to be missed. for fun, have them deep-fry the head and bones, which are all completely edible. otherwise, Vincent has spectacular French/European cuisine. another fine Frech restaurant is La Belle Vie, much newer, but i think Vincent has the most incredible flavors. if possible, get the squash soup. mind-blowing. i recently took a date there and, upon tasting the squash soup, i got a little tear and heard myself saying "honey, i'm home." i got a big laugh out of that. honestly, it's so good it's life-changing. it's because of the par-baked bread from the New French Bakery... they finish baking it at the restaurant so it's just like home-made, and it comes hot and steaming to the table with softened French butter in little dishes, and you combine the soup with that, the first thing you're eating in the evening, it's just heaven. check the menu for the wild boar or suckling pig... they're seasonal, and just completely scrumptious. the rabbit is rarely on the menu anymore but it's prepared three different ways (the flat is one way, the legs another, etc.) and is just a treat. you can't go wrong with a steak. Vincent's recently put 4 of them on the menu. the French truly understand how to serve a steak. when in Vegas, take a date to the ultra-romantic Andre's in the Monte Carlo. it's just inside the door so you don't have to go through the horrible casino. be sure to walk by the water display at Bellagio just at the top of the hour and enjoy it... it's spectacular. make your reservation at the half-hour so you have time to watch the display and finish walking to the restaurant. once again, it's French. the decor is so gorgeous that your date will insist on going staight back to the hotel room afterward. in NYC, you can rarely go wrong at Tavern on Green in Central Park. be sure to order the Lobster Bisque! another soup that will make your knees quiver is the Potato and Corn Chowder. there's a strict reservation policy but i've been there when you could get on a list and wait to see if you could get a seat. avoid the outside seating during the summer/fall. i recall something being very annoying about it... bugs or something falling out of the trees into the food. the inside is exqusite anyway... it's where you want to be.
