Members Rid
Yamaha made a CMOS drive in the 80's! Old idea:) We have one in the test hell hole right now. But we do not use the 4049.
Members erksin
Pharoah Amplifiers makes one called the Rodeo Drive - I tried it and didn't care for it, couldn't tell you if it was an accurate clone as I've never played a RL...
Members Seth Carmody
Kaden Effects Flamingo Fuzz. Not sure how close a clone it is, but like the RL it's a tweak of the Anderton tube sound fuzz circuit. The Protone brahma also. Might be worthwhile emailing Brad form Tonefactor as he stocks these two and the Dirty Dan on occasion. From memory he has a DD on his board.. Members gg82
2 good options here that I know of.... 1. If you can get hold a RGW Dirty Dan - it's a nice version (try Tonefactor). 2. Daz from Dubtronics in Australia made me a fantastic sounding RL clone, with a gain Boost switch as an extra option. He called it a "Fat Camel". It was a one off, but Daz liked it a lot and said he might make more if there was interest. Talk to him. He's a nice guy and does nice work.Dubtronics
Members omor
I did a one-off for somebody, it came out pretty cool. This was the slide decal (plus knobs and switch) I put on after painting it red:
