Members papa taco
I'm thinking of going with the Alladin again. What else would you recommend? The Bellagio is probably my favorite, but it's a bit $$ and the Alladin is right across the street so we can still hang in the Bellagio casino. Maybe I'll see Marie Osmond and Edward J Almos again. On another note, Lawrence Gowan gave me a guitar pick in the Alladin's Starbucks a couple of years ago. taco

Members papa taco
Oh yeah, I like that place. The Luxor looks cool. What about "The Wynn." I haven't been there before but hear good things. It's pricey though, like the Belagio. I might bite the bullet and spend a bit more, but the Alladin suits me fine. It's pretty nice too, the casino is great and the location kicks my ass. Also, my wife told me that one of the cocktail waitresses was so hot she was getting wet. I wonder how often attractive cocktail waitresses get invited into 3-some action? More than I can imagine, I'm sure.Hi Vegas!

I can't vouch for this, as it looks like a complete hole from the outside. I've only ever stayed at NYNY, and while nice, is a hike to get to the heart of the strip. It's not as glitzy as some of the bigger names, but it's right there on the strip, great location, and pretty good prices. Plus that fricking all-you-can eat international buffet they have is insane...I could eat there every single night. A little on the expensive side, but well worth it... Members Sun Devil
Depends on what you want, and how much money you're going to spend. BTW- the cheapest prices are around August when the weather is hellfire hot. The LUXOR is unique with the inclinators and cool rooms. I stayed at the RIO for three months once, and had a blast. Had a living room, kitchen, etc. And a bar with waitresses wearing dental floss...if you know what I mean. THE FLAMINGO is OK too; I stayed there for awhile.Ditto for the MGM and the "Elvis" HILTON. The WYNN is the new luxury hotel, but I actually like the atomsphere at the BELLAGIO a lot better. The HARD ROCK is fun if you're a Musician.MANDALAY BAY has the topless beach, and is really eclectic. If you're not going to stay in your room a lot, then you can go for the lower end stuff. Sahara,Circus-Circus,Stratsophere,etc. If there's anything you want to know about any of these hotels, just ask. (I'm a local.)
Members paul d
I stayed at Treasure Island last October and had an incredible time. I went back last month and stayed Downtown at the California and dug that too, saved some money and still spent as much time on the strip as I could handle. Rooms were big and clean, not real fancy but plenty nice for me. I can't wait to go back!
Members jackpotjewell
I used to live in Vegas. There's a little motel, right next to Venetian, across from Treasure Island, called The Vagabond Inn. There's no casino, and the rooms aren't very big, but it's really cheap, and right in the middle of the strip. I would also recommend looking into staying downtown, Golden Nugget, The Plaza, Binions. Cheaper, and personally, I like downtown a lot better than the strip. It's got more of a old-school vegas vibe. Have fun. P.S. Go to the Double Down. It's a bar a couple blocks from the Hard Rock. It's the Happiest Place on Earth.
