Members 89strat
I just wanted to get an opinion on where to put the Little Big Muff I'll be getting. Here's my chain now: Guitar > Wah > Phase 90 > CS-2 Compressor > RC Booster > Amp. I usually prefer the compressor after the phase and I stick a tu-2 in there also. In my loop I have a dd-20 and CE-2. So, where would you place a big muff.

Members booher
seeing as to how it's a fuzz, i'd probably place it early, if not first, in the chain.

Members MrSage
Honestly, I just haven't used it.I bought it as soon as it was released and it literally sat on my amp for about two weeks before I plugged it in the first time. And the last time.I've been a bit busy with other stuff lately and haven't used it other than that one time...and now I figure I could use the cash for my Tele fund.I will say that it didn't grab me the way a few other muffs have (for instance, my first green muff and one of the blue muffs I modded). I didn't give it much time to grab me, but at bedroom volumes in the 5 minutes I played with it, it didn't do anything particularly special for me.Anyway, take that with a grain of salt. There are other people who have spent more time with it than I have. I really haven't given it a chance.

Personally, I wouldn't use a booster at all, so I just left it where he had it. Assuming he has his reasons.

Not really a fuzz in the classic sense; it doesn't need to be first in line like they do. Sounds really cool with a phaser in front of it.

Assuming he has his reasons. The booster is more for my amp's gain as a solo boost for my Peavey Classic 50. I probably wouldn't boost the muff with it. The RC Booster really turns this amp into something magical. The muff was kind of an impulse buy. I feel naked without some sort of distortion or overdrive pedal on my board so I figured I'd go with something a little different than the typical rock sounds I'm getting. I also like how the phasers sound before any distortions.

Members 89strat
I got the muff today. I haven't put it on the board, but it does sound pretty cool. I can't really think of anything to use thing for, it's so over top.
Members skr3ddy
Just use it for solos then. It'll train you to have more control. Or you can do rhythm parts using single notes or power chords instead of full chords. Lots of stuff you can do with a Muff...
