I need new music...what cd's are you guys spinnin' these days? No one hit wonders, or bands that are the 'cool' thing to listen to. I want to hear an album where it's all good and every track can stand on its own...so let's hear it! What's good right now?

if you're into mogwai-esque type music, there's a boston band called Caspian.

we played with them last week. i thought they were great.

queens of the stone age - songs for the deaf

aloha - that's your fire

blonde redhead - fake can be just as good

to start.

anything by Ritchie Blackmore :D

Arch Enemy - "Wages of Sin", "Anthems of Rebellion", "Doomsday Machine" (basically anything after Angela Gossow took over on vocals). Michael Amott is an amazing guitarist - heavy as hell, but melodic at the same time.

Grand Magus - again, pretty much anything they put out. More doom-ish.

(their website is currently under re-construction, but you can find videos of them on youtube.com)

Spiritual Beggars - I just started getting into this band, and I REALLY dig their stuff. Their latest CD is called "Demons".

plus {censored}loads of the Allman Brothers Band! :thu:
