Members Rocinante
I'm thinking of buying a smaller boutique amp and making another attempt to get my heavy sounds with a pedal. Which clean boost pedals have enough gain to drive a semi-overdriven amp into metal distortion without excessive noise? Alternatively, are there any pedals that incorporate both overdrive/distortion and gain boost in one?

Members santos
I don't know if it'll get you into metal territory, but the Barber LTD has plenty of boost on tap, and it's gain can easily go from clean boost to crunchy rhythm tones. I love mine.
