Members The Idiot
when i place something in my efx loop, my original signal - without the pedal on - becomes less clear and little more bassy - not good. Would spraying some wd-40 on one of guitar jacks help matters.
Members Woody777
What pedal is in the loop? Try using just a cable (no pedal) from FX loop in to FX loop out and see if you get the same results. Sometimes a pedal with bad bypass will cause a change in tone. Try some contact cleaner (you can get it at radio shack) not WD-40.

It sounds great in the loop, but my tone has to compensate for it:( Okay, I'll check it out at radio shack, is there a specific brand of CC that is worth checking out? Members The Idiot
I'm an idiot, lol, it's not the efx loop. I did what you told me to do with plugging the cable through its return and send inputs, and it didnt' effect the sound. When I use my DD-2 in the loop, the sound changes a tiny bit, but nothing too drastic. What was causing the problem was my SD-1, that's a tone sucker and I won't be boosting my amp anymore. The less pedals, the better.
