Members mumford
I used to have one-- it was just in an office I moved into and they said I could have it. It only sort of worked, it made a lot of vowel sounds, mostly. The switches are clear and light up different colors. It wasn't in as good shape as the one in those pictures, the hinge was broken, etc. I had no idea what it was other than weird and sort of broken. I sent it to one of the bigger vintage dealers on the net who said over the phone he could repair it. I sent it to him to repair, not to sell it to him, but a week later I got a check for $500 and never heard from him again. I was very broke at the time and was happy to get it, but in retropect I wish I'd hung on to it just for the value.
Members endo23
It looks-- quite literally-- like a garbage can. And who are these "vintage effects collectors" I'm always reading about? Am I to presume there are people out there with rooms full of incredible antique guitar processors? That's just weird.

You have to find this funny. I mean he kind of burned you, but it's kind of funny that he just took your pedal/box and gave you $500. Like stealing, but also giving. Yeah, although having no idea what it was and living on $800 a month at the time, though, I was more thrilled to have $500 than upset that he had tricked me. I'm convinced he planned it that way. This was about 10 years ago, that particular dealer has fallen off the radar since.
Members mumford
Oddly enough, PRS pulled the same deal on a friend of mine. At one point they decided they wanted their basses off the market (not sure why) and he sent his in for a simple repair. They sent him back credit. (He was a dealer.) I had some clues the guy was shifty, though-- he called me on the phone from a cell phone he found in the parking lot and told me so. He was proud of it. Members Bruno
It took me 2 years but I bought one of these things and can confirm that it is awesome!!! There is nothing out there that sounds like it in my books. I am sure that it will hit $1100-1200 before the auction is over.
Members papa taco
That pedal makes me want to sell everything and only play accoustic. What an abortion.

Members Sir H C
I still think there is some Electro-Voice connection. Here is the top PCB from Bruno's:Very unique sound to these, can do some very whacky stuff, and gets brighter than the sun.

Members BryanMichael
Here is a schematic:http://www.geofex.com/FX_images/Ludwig%20P2.gif Someone could probably build one... I remember someone USED to have some clips online for these and I was underwhelmed- fuzz and phase really. I mean it's cool and probably does sound a little different, but everything sounds a little different than everything else. for the most part. But, yeah- phase and fuzz. Was it tonefrenzy? or modezero?
