Members PFDarkside
I celebrate all guitarists that have played with Ozzy. However I think I like Zakk's songwriting better than Jake's, even though it's en vouge to like Jake nowadays. My favorite obviously is Tony. Members capnbringdown
I prefer the Iommi-era Ozzy the most.
Members DeuceII
There was a time when I'd go so far as to say I prefer the Jake era to the Rhandy era. Not sure about that now, but I think Jake doesn't get nearly the dues he is owed (financially and figuratively) for his time in Ozzy's band. Oh, and I don't really like Wylde's playing. At all. Almost ever. Yeah, yeah, flame away.
Members gtrwiz
I like Zakk, but Jake is #1 for me, even over Randy... (duck and hide)...
Members Rob Eadgbe
Jake suffers from the "guy who replaced a legend" syndrome. Whenever possible, it's always best to be "the guy who replaces the guy who replaces a legend".

Members AbbeSauniere
I'll take Bark At THe Moon over any of the Wylde stuff. Not denying Wylde's talent, but he just seems like such a {censored}ing idiot. Can't get past that.
Members Chris LaCroix
I listen to the Zakk era most.
Members tnttnttnt
I'm not American, but I just don't get Zakk's whole Southerner act. The guy's from New Jersey!
Members Man In space
Never liked the Zakk period, and wasn't too crazy about Ultimate Sin either. Bark At The Moon had its moments.I do prefer Jake's playing over Zakk's Jan
Members TheDarxide
*puts hand up* It really annoys me that there's no Ultimate Sin tracks on the Best Of. Great album.
Members Speeddemon
I SLIGHTLY prefer Zakk's tone over Jake's kinda thin, too phasey/flangey tone, but I prefer Jake's more tastefull playing, instead of Mr. Pinch-Harmonic-Galore. But Randy slays 'm both (eventhough he had the WORST tone). And that makes me even more proud of my early 80's Burny Les Paul Custom in vintage white (turned yellow). Members book_of_lies777
*raises hand* Jake rocks - true, it was a whole different era gear-wise, but oh well, I like 80's guitar. "Bark at the Moon" is {censored}in' amazing!!! oh yeah... Sakk is a tool.
Members Matter-Eater Lad
None of the stuff with ZW was good. Jake was the last good era for Ozzy. "They call me Mister Tinkertrain..." WTF?!!?

Members tnttnttnt
I think Ultimate Sin is under a different label or something, so they didn't have the rights to put songs off that album in the Best of. Members tnttnttnt
If you read any Ozzy interview where he's asked what he thinks his worst album is he always says The Ultimate Sin. The truth is it is one of his most successful albums to date and it turned a lot of people (including myself) onto Heavy Metal. It must be a Sharon thing, not wanting to pay royalties to the composers or something. Originally posted by TheDarxide Thanks for this!!
