Members Wood Chuck Posted May 25, 2006 Members Share Posted May 25, 2006 the barber small fry, i was not happy with this box. i spent a good 20 minutes or so, and although, not a bad box by any means, it had toomuch color for me, and was boxy sounding. but the xotic bb preamp is the real deal, warm, open,sweet growly. etc, waht a pedal! Members gregovertone Posted May 25, 2006 Members Share Posted May 25, 2006 one day, i check the mail box around 1:30. the BB was in there--- i was super excited. i plugged it into the vox. amazing. around 4:00, ups showed up, and a klon had arrived. i plugged it in. the next day, i posted a spam thread for the BB. definately a sweet pedal, but it was WAY gainier than i was looking for. although, i did like it more than the v1 OCD.
