KOT: What's a fair asking price for my Tele?

Alright, need some quick responses because I need to get back to a potential buyer. So here is the run down.

 

1995 MIM Fender Tele Standard

MIA pickup in the neck

One of the best looking maple necks I've seen on MIM guitars, especially current production

It has some nicks in the paint and some wear in the finish of the neck.

A guy is interested in this and the amp that is in my sig and wants to work out a combo deal. I figure I can throw in a cable and possibly a tuner if he is purchasing this as a starter deal. I've seen on ebay that MIM Standards run about $275 + shipping. But I've played newer production and I feel like this 11 year old tele is much better sounding and feeling than the new ones. It's got straplocks too. I won't have to ship this if that helps. The guy is local.

275 is a good price. I would take the money and run with it. Selling it on Ebay is a pain, with shipping and such. There are a ton of newer MIM strats that are as good as American models(minus electronics). If he was a friend, I would do 250, and just someone off the streets, 275.

I emailed the one guy and said I thought that $225 was a fair price. Another guy emailed me but not so interested in the combo deal and I said $230.

It seems fair. I wish I would have know that I could possibly get $275 for it. I used $250 as a base price. Then took off $25 for the paint chips and the slight wear on the neck. It definitely got played. And then I didn't add any to the cost for the straplocks and the neck pickup... like freebies.
