Members english_bob
The Battery in my FAB distortion is dying, and I'm getting awesome sputtery, gated fuzz sounds from it. Very Fuzz Face-like, heading into Stooges territory the longer I keep playing through it. I like it better like this than as a regular distortion box. Anyone have any idea how I can maintain it in a "dying battery state" permanently? Preferably without spending a fortune on a power supply with simulated sag? Members PurpleStrat
I tend to like mine more and more everyday. Maybe the it's because it get better as the battery drains? Dunno.

Members Fingermush
I keep weak batteries in a box, just for this purpose. YOu can get a cheap analog multimeter for like $5-10 bucks & that'll give you a good idea of what type of voltage is needed for your application. Members stangme01
Yeah you get an adjustable voltage AC Adapter. I have one that lets you select 1.5v 3v 4.5v 6v 7.5b 9v 12v its one of those universal adapter AC ADAPTERs that comes with a bunch of pedal power jacks also. I use to use it at 6v or so with my Boss HM-2 and HM-3 and got the BEST FUZZ ever.
