Members eethier
Originally posted by capnbringdown Metal didn't die; it was murdered, and I saw who did it. It was pop culture. It took metal out back, made it kneal down, put a shotgun in its mouth, and pulled the {censored}ing trigger. I saw the whole thing, and I can testify. Perhaps one day, we can bring this murderous villian--pop culture--to its knees and make it pay for crimes against humanity. Who can enumerate how many it has killed. Oh, and its future victims, too. We must stop it before its too late. So, if you resume... metal died !? (I guess I'll have to turn down the gain)
Members tocs100
Heavy Metal also died in the '70s, due to punk and disco. It was slain again in the '80s by glam and the PMRC. Heroin kileed it yet again in the '90s. Its latest death is reported by people who say "the Metal" and "smokin' the pot." (Note: I realize this is a joke-thread--just thought a beeet of seriousness was in order.)
