"...Drummer?"

or

"Your Bass Player?"

it kinda sounds like you're saying this is MY band, see? and i have this guy who plays drums for me. he's MY drummer!

you never hear the drummer talk about HIS guitarist. or even the guitarist talk about HIS singer.

or have i got it all wrong?

i'll ahve to ask my drummer...

I think I tend to say "our drummer" which still has a sense of ownership over him and is kind of weird. I think it has just become a part of guitar player vernacular. Its easier than saying "the drummer who is a part of the band I am in".

i think they made drummer slavery illegal back in the 40's.

maybe "our" drummer's alright.

sounds more like it's a collective.

or even they way it's used in the U.K. as a term of endearment, like when a mother refers to her daughter as "our Julie."

(assuming her daughter's name is Julie, of course.)
