Members dealer
I had a thread a while back here about my mini deja vibe giving me an unwanted clipping sound. I've tested the {censored} out of it, changing every variable but the pedal itself and finally sent it to fulltone, they said the pedal was fine but they replaced the input transistor just in case. I just got it back tonight and it's the same symptom - when my guitar volume is at 10 on either pickup I get a clipping sound when I hit the thing meduim-hard. baffling. it's a totally stock 2005 les paul standard. I have no idea what the deal is... maybe the pickups output a bit more than regular stock les pauls? I don't know. I love the fulltone stuff and especially this vibe pedal and it sucks to have to turn my guitar volume down to 8 when I engage it. I think I have a work-around but I just want to understand the problem. any advice or input would be appreciated.

Members fretless
I use mine with high output keyboards , 18v bass preamps , active boost in front of it , it takes it all no problem . Have you checked all your other connections , power supply , cables , amp , gtr , etc.etc. even bad AC will be amplified with a pedal or amp . Does your pedal have a problem ? Maybe ? but considering it just came back from fulltones , I would just recommend you check everything , have you tried other guitars through it ?Have you tried it with other power supplies ? Now that I think about it , I bet it's a bad power supply .

Try rolling back the gain on your channel a bit and using the master volume to make it louder.
Members jonny guitar
Most vibes are not designed for hot humbuckers and will clip if overdriven. The pickups in your LP are probably too hot for it. Have you tried rolling back your guitar volume to 8-9?
Members Yarmo
The humbucker I have in my guit. is around 15k and I don't have any clipping problems. I think Fretless may be on to something with the power supply.
Members dealer
now that I think about it, the power supply is the only thing that's remained constant. I've used other les pauls and the problem occurs with them as well. I can roll back the master volume to ~8 on my lp and it does stop the thing from clipping. I've sort of jimmied the thing. since I run it after my moogs, I have taken down the gain on them a little and it prevents the clipping even with my guitar volume maxed at 10. the power supply is now my prime suspect... hadn't thought of that. a.
