Members Drumas funk
First of all, can the amp models be bypassed for use of effects only? Second, what is the easiest way to bypass this pedal live? I assume you've got to push both of the buttons down to bypass right? I'm sure this won't be quick enough and it probably cuts out. So can I buy a cheap pedal to help this? Last, with the aid of an expression pedal, can a whammy effect be achieved?
Members Ultra.Fuzz
Yes. Give a look at the manual. And... There's a thread about the hold delay function that has a lot of information on how to make a stomp for bypass/tap/whatever.
Members Drumas funk
I haven't gotten one yet, so I can't look at the manual. I will try to find that thread, so thanks, I really just needed theses questions aswered to convince me to buy it. I can get it for $60 so I thought I'd take advantage of that. So can I buy a cheap pedal to help this? yeah pressing both of the little buttons down at the same time is a bitch, especially since the thing switches patches so quickly. To bypass it you can buy their $25 footswitch. Cheaper ones may work as well. Members Drumas funk
Thanks man, any recommedations on a cheaper pedal to bypass other than the zoom one?
Members Pengrin
http://www.samsontech.com/products/relatedDocs/G2.pdfThis is where you find the manual. With the G2 you can set up a patch that has no effects etc next to a patch you use. That is how I use my G2 to bypass it easily. Pushing both buttons, well, I'm a mutant at it. Members Hazy24
You won't be able to connect both a footswitch and an expression pedal. It's one or the other.
