Members GuyaGuy
thanks guys! i like writing songs in the traditional pop/rock sense but i find myself most satisfied when my music gets closer to something else--i want to say classical music but i'm not sure that is it. in any case Traumnovelle is definitely one example of that happening.i highly recommend checking out Arvo P

Gearbox is bascially a mini-POD. i think i used a Beta series SHURE mic for everything that was miked--drums, amp, etc. the Gearbox has stuff like preamps, compressors, etc, which i used especially for drums and vox.recording program: (OHHHH! THAT'S WHAT A PROG IS! ) Abelton Live. but it's the Lite version that comes w/ the Toneport. only 4 tracks and 4 FX per song total so it's kinda limited but i thought it would be good to start since i need to learn the basics before i go crazy with loads of layers and FX. but those fx came in handy for fixing up the drums--adding 'verb and EQing 'em to get a decent sound.btw the drums aren't TOO boomy are they?p.s. guitar gear is in sig. keys: GEM electric organ. drums: pacific by DW, crappy zildjian cymbals. and some kinda glockenspiel

Are you using a violin bow?Yeah, Matt Talbott did the recording and engineering.. he's done a few local bands here, and their releases have sounded pretty cool.
