how do you use the fuzz factory

i will preface this by saying sorry if there has been a thread on this before, i searched but could not find any.

 

Do you use the fuzz factory more as a standard fuzz sound or more for the crazy sounding stuff it does? I use to really be gasing for one, then thought it wasnt for me, and now i am gasing again.

 

Also, if anyone has any cliips in a full band setting, that would be great.

You mean to say, zvex pedals are guitar effects too? I didn't know that.

I use mine as a straight fuzz but with my usual settings the pedal starts to develop a slight octavia funk aftera few months. I tend to go through more batteries than the average FF user.

then OC- 2 octaver with clean on full and one octave down between 12 and 3

then wah

then two trems set at different rates, depths and waveforms

I really have to pull back on my dimarzio humbuckers when I use mine (to about 6 on the volume dial, but I'm left handed, so I mean, 4)

Also I got the nicest sounds out of it when the battery was on its way out. I think the stab control is meant to emulate this, but it can't do because a dying battery never made my signal go weeeooowwweweoeowoweoweoweoweoweowoewoweoweowoeoweowoeooweowewewweooe.

as an in your face classic and raunchy fuzz sound, i guess a mixy beetween a fuzz face and a maestro

I use the 7-7-5-5 setting the most. It's my super hot Fuzz Factory sound that fades into noise clatter. When I turn the volume almost all the way down with my EC Strat it has this kind of John and Yoko OD sound. Yoko says, "you become naked"

Then from there into raging glory of it's limitless gain, it's fast attack clipping on notes flash them nanoseconds sooner in time.

I've experimented with it since 97. Played it into DSP's with great results. It sounds so unique I can play it into another fuzz and it still retains character. When I got it I had to get a Machine to increase the happy mayhem.
