Members jem7vwh
Its a real old MIJ Black Label one, and it makes a wooshing chorus noise whenever it's on, even with both knobs set to zero. Is it supposed to be like that?

Is it supposed to be like that? Of the CE-2's that I've goofed off with, none of them did what you describe. Though I wasn't running it with ultra high gain. Are you feeding a clean signal or high gain to the CE-2?
Members jem7vwh
I've tried both clean and high gain. Same with both, just very slightly more pronounced on high gain.

Members KBN
There is likely something wrong with it. I have never experienced that with a CE-2.
Members Seth Carmody
Same experience here. I had a green label and it was silent.
