Members jimivaughnking
I was wondering if I can take 2 plugs and wire them in series to get 18volts to power an 18v pedal? Seems like this should be possible. Is there another way to do this? I'm trying to keep from having to run to power transformers for my pedal board and use the One Spot to power everything includeing the 18v pedal. Members Brian Marshall
It wont work the one spot is a single power source just like a 9 volt battery... no matter how many leads you parallel off of it its still only 9 volts. Boosting DC voltage requires active circuitry.
Members Ben Co.
The Godlyke Power Pump I mentioned above should also work just fine with the One-Spot (I'm using it with the Godlyke Power-All) and will be capable of upping the voltage to 12, 18 or 24v. I used it at 12v with my AM Clone, and at 18v with my OKKO Diablo with success. And still no additional wal-warts to worry about. But what Brian was mentioning is straight true- 2 x 9v plugs in a 9v daisy chain do not = 18v. -Ben
Members canucker1981
{censored} that thing is perfect for One Spot users. I have two of them and could really use that Power Pump for my ZIM. It will be mine.

Members IndyGuitarist
I suppose you always could use two different one spots and wire them in series to one plug. bw
