To be fair mate your coach was pretty arrogant before the World Cup dismissing Australia when we have nothing to do with the USA group ... and was generally cocky - quite unfortunate really. Leaving that aside for a moment - the US are having some good chances and you actually have a good team but the Czechs are a class above with players like Nedved etc ... I mean you may as well be playing Brazil as the Czechs are ranked like 2 or something ... so yeah your having some better moments but the Czechs are too good really.

Your a good US supporter though cause there are allot of USA supporters at the match backing your boys but your the only person in this forum who gives a {censored} about your team!?

Bummer ... :(

i'm not aware of what he said regarding australia, and as for me, i prefer never to be cocky and simply just deliver...but i kind of feel that he doesn't have much choice. america isn't really a contender and while our team gets better, it'll be a long time before we're on the same plain as germany and brazil. what choice does he have but to stand tall and speak loud?

with that said, like my father always said, sports are sports and anything can happen on any given day. so i am optimistic that we can put forth a good showing. :thu:

Well he has allot of choices ... he could just be a man and a gent and just get on with playing football instead of talking trash about a team that's not even in HIS group!

That said ... I agree but at this stage the USA aren't going to get past the first round - they will lose this match clearly - sad but true for your boys and then lose their game against Italy which will mean Bruce Arena and his big mouth get to go home with egg on the face.

He could have gone out with grace and good sportsmanship but he chose to be a loud mouth ... sadly something Americans are known for world wide - I know great Amercians but it's a shame when people like that reinforce the ugly stereotype.

First one mate, definitely the first one. :(

FIFA must work out their rankings based on something the rest of us don't see because USA were ranked the fifth best team in the world recently.

haha...tis true. that's ok tho. i have my teams in every world cup. in addition to the us, i usually support england and italy...however, i seem to have lost interest in italy this year.

i also like, in a secondary sense, the netherlands, mexico and australia.

I'm very much a fan and supporter of the American team. I attended all the games at the Silverdome in 94. I coached for over 13 years and my son played for a select team that toured Austria, Germany and Italy.

Sorry about the coaches remarks. I definitely do not share in his remarks. I hope we have a good series and best of luck to you guys down under.:thu:

I'm watching it live ... word from the commentator with 7 mins to go is that USA supporters are heading for the exits ... it's sadly a foregone conclusion for your boys ... not forgetting Ghana will more than likely not be a good game for the US either - leaving Italy aside for a minute.

Get the highlights later ... but just for the Czech goals ... if you know and love your football you will REALLY apreciate the skill at work here ... astounding talent!
