I could easily get by with one pedal with humbuckers, but a strat needs at least one od plus a fuzz face. It's the law.Btw, I use a Fulldrive II with both. Members fatbackribs Posted June 16, 2006 Members Share Posted June 16, 2006 I almost always use multiple gain-stages (transister boost into a tube od/preamp,) to get my od tones. The last few times I had to grab just one od pedal for a small room, I used a: Nobels ODR-1 With my tele and a Mesa, Subway Blues,the ODR-1 got the job done just fine. I have a Jaugernig DGTM tube screamer clone that is only okay in that department.....I have a Analog Man Sunlion, both the treble boost side and the fuzz side clean up really well, so I want an OD that will do the same.
