Members 1DZReverendDavidLee
http://www.hagstromguitars.com/ A local store just started carrying these today -I went over and played thru a couple of them and I was very pleased with the playability, neck, fit & finish, visual extras and accents and the tone was superb for guitars in the $450 - $680 range. I swear I saw a thread on these somewhere in here -but when I did a search - it found no matches. I had never played any of these before today. I'm impressed. Any owners in here, or did you at least try one out anyplace? I'm curious about opinions and also want to give a nod to some sweet axes for not alot of dough - comparibly for the features. Members 1DZReverendDavidLee
The first one I played was this model -only the one I played had the flamed maple carved top. I'll try to find a picture of that one.
Members 1DZReverendDavidLee
I played this one too -a great quasi SG look and feel and the P-90's (H-90's) screamed. http://www.hagstromguitars.com/f200p.html#
Members 1DZReverendDavidLee
Btw the coil tap on the Deluxe model was simply excellent - noticeable changes in voice easily made this one sound like 6 different guitars with the three way pup selector - a very resonate and good sounding guitar. This guitar was surprisingly loud UNPLUGGED. Very articulate and could scream and wail on the Gain channel of the amp.And no - I didn't buy one. I just liked em alot. Night. Members Upgrade
I played them at Anaheim NAMM. The import ones were about Agile quality but the American luthier built ones were fantastic.
