Blues to classic rock what do you guys recomend?

I play through a mesa dc-5 and a red knob twin.

I ask you guys because you have all the knowledge

when it comes to good pedals and some of you may have

one time or another had every pedal thats ever been made...jk

Thanks

I don't think that you would need a whole lot -- a wah, decent overdrive, a nice fuzz, an analog delay, and maybe a modulation effect or two (phaser, flanger).

I won't make specific recommendations because I haven't tried out everything out there -- most of my stuff is fairly cheap. I will say that it's better to try before you buy, or at least buy from somewhere with a good return policy, because what sounds good on one guy's rig may not sound good with yours.

Since your a VH fan you could star with a Phase 90 and his signiture Flanger. I used to have a DC5 and can tell you that a Boss SD1 actualy makes it sound smoother and more Marshall like. I used one at all times with that amp to warm it's tone up.
