I'm not talking about overdrive as in boost the volume and drive your tubes -- I mean for use in a solid state amplifier, getting all the overdrive from the pedal itself. What say ye? How about one with less mid-range? More transparence? Well, if you're trying to get your SS amp to sound more 'tubey', you'll need a pedal with a mid emphasis IMO. I dunno - Hotcake?
