Used the Hiwatt DR201 from 70-71, cab is a 4x12 with Celestion G12H 30 watts speakers.

The guitar is my old Kramer, also used our prototype analouge chorus/flanger in the clip.

The same setup again, picked a random pedal from our stock for a test to see if it was ok, then I thought that I might as well record it, same with the Crushzone.

hehe...well it does not need to play loud to sound good though.

I have used the CZ for old Gilmour stuff to more modern things, it is a treblebooster into a fuzzy distortion....a fun mix of old and new really.

The delay is quite nice, it is for those that digs a slightly lo-fi'ish delay:)

I just ran both of these pedals thru my HiWatt Bulldog

Perfect combination! Thank you!!!! :thu:

These newer Carl Martin pedals are well under the radar - we need more threads like this one. Ooo-Rah!!!

Hiwatts:D Gotta love those.

I still hope to find one of the old 50 watts combo's one day:)

Anyways the new series is doing good actually, people seems to like the simple

way they are, the Crushzone is fun one, treblebooster into a distortion/fuzz...

We are making more for the series, here is the possible final version for an overdrive, and I have already used the chorus/flanger in the other clips...that one is trippy:cool:

Here is the od, running through a Customshop 50 combo, guitar is the Kramer again.

It has a switch for extra fatness by the way, has a cleanbooster, and the usual drive layout of its big brothers the HDB's, but a different circuit, more related to the one in the Quattro.

And thanks for the headsup Rev:)

I have some more clips coming, this time I played over a backing track, to give people some idea how it fits in.

I used my AC-15 clone head with the same 4x12 cab as I used with the Hiwatt.

They will come later this week:)

....

I really liked the chorus/flanger sound toward the end; I would have guessed it was an autowah-vibe hybrid. Intriguing....

;) Hehe love is hard work...so I will just post this "little" test that I acutally did not make for any public usage...so it is long and noisy, but it has its interesting sides here and there.

Hiwatt DR201 head, Carl Martin 4x12 cab with V30's, the first distortion is the Crushzone, when I go clean the first time and switch back to dirt is a Plexitone, then back to the CZ again I think it was...??hehe

The modulation effect is a prototype chorus/flanger, all analouge, delay is the Red Repeat.

Hey Niels!! :)

i'm regular in the amp forum, where we can talk to guys like Doug (Roccaforte), Jerry (JFA Mods) and other cool and very knowleadgable dudes . . . it's great to see you here also, from one of the finest pedal crafter in the world!! :thu:

cool clips, in fact, i was really looking for some clips of the Red Repeat, since dont have any in the site . . . to make a decision.

that what i was really looking . . .

does the Red Repeat have TBP?? it works better on the loop or in front of the amp??

can i order one direct with you??

thanks, and keep up the excelent job!! :thu:

Hi and thanks.

No we do not have any direct order, hmm we have no dealers in Brazil or any other place in South America right now....

We have no true bypass pedals, some ads and some misunderstandings regarding our boss's sometimes lack of technical knowledge, may lead some to belive that we actually make such things, but we do not, nor will we ever do it, as it we do not like it much here.

It works best in front of amps, loops must be working at music-levels and not at linelevel, as that will overload the pedal.

Can you get one from the US??

Otherwise shoot us a mail at

info@carlmartin.com

Best regards Niels

Or mail me at nwintherkl@mailme.dk
