Members AbbeSauniere
I've got the Weber versions, the C1230s, in a Bluesbreaker combo. They replaced a pair of Celestion Greenbacks. Less midrange, more low end and high end, faster attack and a lot tighter. A bit clearer as well, but lack the woodiness of Greenbacks. Much better in open back cabs IMO. If you go the Weber route, get the 55Hz Bass cone if you want to tame some of the highs in your amp. The eq shifts more towards the low end, with less high end than the 75hz Lead cone. I believe the Anniversary Celestions are 75hz and the Heritage models are 55hz.
