Members fusionid
I got this one on a great deal with a forumite here at HC for the MIJ one. Im not too familiar with it. Who has it? whats its strenght and claim to fame? EDIT: ACTUAL PICTURES, JUST ARRIVED TODAY
Members PurpleStrat
I find that to really hear it's strength you have to try another chorus then go back and try the CE2 again. They you understand. It is not over the top at all, it stays subtle and smooth. It will not get harsh at all.
Members Seth Carmody
Very warm (boosted mids, dulled highs). It's kinda like the archetypal chorus sound you have in your head, at least for me anyway. Where it fails is in the speed of the LFO. Doesn't get very fast at all, which makes it pretty limited. The depth was also a fairly mild IIRC. If was ok. Tonepad have a CB you can buy which I may do, as they tell you how to mod it for more speed, add a vib switch, extra depth etc. Only to build one would cost about at least as much as to buy the real deal. Members Pigsinzen
I had one... But liked my Super Chorus better. *shrug* I don't like the Boss PH-3s though. I think the PH-2 sounds bettah.

Members vanguard
it's a chorus for people who didn't think they liked chorus. it is very easy to get a sort of swimmy, syrupy tone out of it without sounding too 80's.

Which is ironic since most 80s chorus was this box.
Members preservation
could it help towards the typical Smiths-era Johnny Marr tone ?
Members jeverist
Wow, is that a pic of the one you're getting? If so, that thing is MINTY! Congrats. Definitely one of my faves, along with the Arion SCH-1 and the original EH Small Clone. Its the archetypal 80's clean tone. Plug a strat into this and then into a delay and a nice clean amp and you'll have the perfect Andy Summers sound.

I dont think the one Im getting is mint but it is the MIJ at least. I didnt think it was fair to get on the high horse cuz I paid 20 dlls for it and the trader included an adapter
Members capnbringdown
Yeah, there was a forumite selling on of these a couple of days ago. I was going to purchase it but never got the pics, guess he sold it to you? Oh, well. I'll probably just sell some more stuff and buy the jacques. I had an A/B box for trade that I said otherwise I'll take 20 dlls for it. He offered me several pedals and I picked the chorus. It didnt seem like the had the intention of selling it in the first place
Members GuyaGuy
20 US bucks?right on.i like chorus simple. what the hell do you need more than 2 knobs for? genrally i like to poo-poo any chorus but subtle, non-warped, non-shimmery, just dual signal chorus. but then i hear an 80's Cure song and i'm like ! Members PaulS
I had one for a while(10yrs) and I would say I agree with the smooth description, very laidback but pleasant. Traded mine in on a vibe unit.

I sent the dude another pm for pics. If he sends me them, I'll probably buy it from him. I need a good but cheap chorus pedal. Flange isn't making me as happy as I thought it would.
