i use manila envelopes to protect my collection of unicorn stickers. they may not be a "thrilla" but they're quite fetching. if that's what you call "gurly" then well so be it!

p.s.

My Dad was/is a huge boxing fan...I remember watching this and many classics with him.
GREAT FIGHT!
Ronaldo will need to learn to box IF Rooney gets him back at Old Trafford.

That fight was the destruction of both of their careers.
It hurts too much to even watch it... Eddie Futch saved Frazier from dying or becoming a vegetable by throwing in the towel.
Ali urinated blood for a month after that fight and called his mother at 2 am, weeping; "Mama...that man hurt me bad."

the ironic thing is that both of them were past

their primes at this point, but they brought out

the best in each other. prolly one of the most

brutal, demanding fights in heavyweight history. i have about 6 ali autographs on the

original fight programs. i have a picture of him

and i swapping play punches. i cherish it!

Great fight I remember watching it live. :)

The most brutal fight I ever saw was Ray Mancini vs Du Ku Kim (sp). Either fighter could have hit the canvas from the opening bell. If I remember correctly Mancini knocked Mr. Kim out near the end of round 15. Sadly, Mr. Kim died soon afterwards. Ray Mancini's career was never the same... :(:(:(
