I'm running 9 pedals so I did run a power strip and plugged the Tonebone + a delay into it, both working fine. It's not dead silent but almost. Very happy with the results. If you have noise problems this will really help. No I don't work for Voodoo Lab!!! Those were the days of drugs, booze, women and Rock and Roll. Not like a distortion it does the boosted thing either a rangemaster kinda of light or dark and/or a clean boost which will push your signal into a distorted state sort of. I use it as a clean boost!
