If it plays well, then I'm all for it - however, the burst doesn't look right. I personally like pink (My wallpaper is a very subdued fleshy pink in my apartment - see http://creativity.the-engine.org ). Definitely recognize some masculinity issues with some of the posters here, though ;P If it makes you feel any better, you guys can call it "Man-genta".You have inspired me, MKF.
