Messing with my recording equipment today... anybody want a good laugh?

Recording is Free MXL990 Condenser -> M-Audio MobilePre USB -> GarageBand on my Powerbook.

 

This should be good for a laugh . I was messing around trying to sound all strained and stuff like the guy from the Cure.

btw, does anyone else hear this the beginning of this song and think "hey cool! FAITH by the Cure!" or hear FAITH and think "hey cool! CLOSE TO ME by George Michael!" ?

I'm pretty impressed with the sound quality. It's nice to know you don't have to buy expensive gear to make nice recordings. Although it would never be up to the recording forum's standards, but... I don't think most of us care.

You don't sound like Robert Smith, but you still sound really cool, so .
