Members papa taco
Go to the next (last) rehearsal heavily armed and go postal on their {censored}ty asses.Nah, send them a strip-o-gram telling them you quit. Make sure it's a male stripper so it leaves a sour taste in their mouths.
Members Narcosynthesis
After practise or a gig or whatever, sit everyone down, tell them you are too busy at the moment and can't keep the band rolling with job/studies and everything and you need to duck out and quit. Play for any gigs booked already, offer to help train a new guy or whatever and leave on the best terms you can David

Members GuitArtMan
I was watching the Gary Moore and Friends tribute to Phil Lynott (Thin Lizzy) DVD - you could try what Gary and Eric Bell did - just walk off stage!
Members phyrexia
Pack all your {censored} up one night after practice. That's all you really need to do.
Members theraygun
Just stop showing up for practice or gigs. They'll probably figure it out eventually. or Start a new band.

Members Mel Cooley
Be up front and honest and say you're too busy for them at the moment. Leave the part about them being the {censored}ty band out. Either that or grab your gear and run crying from the practice space wailing that you've had it with those uncaring {censored}ers. Members CicadaSilence
Just tell them: they're a drain on your energy, and you can apply it better elsewhere. No hard feelings. Pack your stuff, and leave.

Members krazeexharhar
Haha. Well, the deed is done. I called the drummer (my friend) and told him I was quitting. He was upset at first but got over it pretty quick. We sat the band down at practice and I told them, and that I felt I was better off in my other project and they were probably better off without me. I was pretty sad that night though. We didn't jam either (no breakup sex).
