Members Roy Brooks
Of the two I definitely dig Red Rider, one of the few bands in the rock world that had a pedal steel player. I saw both bands. Red Rider opened for Jefferson Starship. And Saga opened for Heart.
Members capnbringdown
I don't think Lunatic Fringe is a lost classic. I've haerd it a ton of times on the radio. Maybe they were a one hit wonder, but it's hard to consider a song lost when I've heard it so much on the radio. I'm not familiar with the other one off the top of my head, so I have no clue what it is at the moment.
Members erksin
I had to go with Red Rider - I can totally hear that steel solo in my head as I type. I liked Saga back then too though - we used to play one of their songs in my band - can't remember the name dammit!

Members claffman
Red Rider------still hear "that song" all the time now. The SAGA song was a rocker back in their day though. Don't hear that one often.
Members utterhack
Man, Clear Channel must feed y'all midwest and southy types a different diet. I haven't heard "Lunatic Fringe" out here in maybe ever. Though I wouldn't put it past our "Jack" aka "oldies 75-95" station to play it at some point or another. One can only hope...
