Members p90teleman
...for 140euros. They're like 200+ new where I live. The pedal is about 6 months old and comes with adaptor, manual etc. (damn search function) Are new Whammys THAT bad? Are they reliable? Is there a demo/manual online since the only idea of Whammy I've got is Jack White on Stripes' DVD... thanx
Members rustyshed
Hi there, I own a new whammy and its sounds fine. The old ones are better, but not to the point that I would look for an original one. The digitechs do tone suck a bit so I would suggest a true bypass loop box so its only in your signal chain when your using it, apart from that. Prepare to go crazy for a few weeks then just except the Whammy as a part of your playing style. You could go for a Boss harmoniser with a seperate expression pedal they are a little better, still would use a loop box with it though. Have fun
