Members SJB
I don't know if one exists but it would be nice. Again - someway to tap in the tempo BEFORE I engage the pedal so that it comes on in time (IE: tap at the beginning of a song click it on when needed). I know you can do this with multifx processors like the gt-6/8, but I'm looking for a compact (ie: boss sized) effect. I don't mind having to plug in an external tap tempo either. Members TweedBassman
i believe the diamond memory lane does this. if not, there is another pedal that does, maybe the DLS echotap.
Members luke978
Line 6 echo park does this. It just so happens that I have one for sale with the power supply in the spam thread.

Members Collapse
You could just put a delay in a true-bypass loop, engage it and set the tap tempo, and then switch it with the looper. I wouldn't suggest that normally, but if you don't mind having an external footswitch anyway then it doesn't seem like it would make much difference. Members t_e_l_e
the echopark does it. if not engaged the led blinks red/orange in the tabed delay time. if you engage it the led changes to green blinking. good thing on the echo park, its one switch you have to operate. pressing it half thourgh is tabing, pressing it full is turning on and off.... ...bad thing about it, if you tab not correct you may turn it on/off, if you turn it on/off not correct you may change the time... so you have to train your tabing skills... for me i tried it a couple of times and then said to myself forget it, i use the knob to turn in the time
