All kidding aside, I'm sure it plays like butter. The one Suhr that I played was top notch in every regard and damn near played itself. One day I'd like to get a more traditional Suhr strat.

LOL, no purple strap included. I'd like a little more traditional Suhr strat, too. This one isn't very "Suhrish" feeling with regards to comparison against the others I've strummed on and I'm a little disappointed. Of course, it's a terrific guitar but it not representative of what Suhr traditionally manufactures. This one was a custom shop and I knew that when I bought it.

'83-'84 Kramer Pacer loves would fall all over themselves with regard to this one's feel and playability. The neck shape is a deadringer for what those felt like. I love the guitar but it's not what I was expecting. I'll probably keep it since it does play extremely well and of course I love the finish but for the money I spent, I would have rather bought another Anderson Drop Top Classic. I'll grade this particular Suhr a "B" where my Drop Top Classic is an "A+".

Nick,

I know I'm a nut but I called this morning to the local Dallas dealer and found out I can have a completely customized Anderson per my specs within one of the few coverted reservation orders available. It will also be purple.

It's worth it. I gotta do it.
