Members veil
There are dozens of guitars I think are awesome and would love to own. But there isn't a single guitar that I think would be the ultimate guitar to have. The guitars I do own I am perfectly satisfied with (Fender Big Apple, Ibanez Talman), and I feel like I can do anything with them. The only thing I don't have is a noise-gimmick guitar with routed Kaoss pad, Sustainer pickup, and other knick-knacks. That would be radical. Yeah but anyway. I can't think of a single guitar that would be perfect for me. Maybe this one-off Gibson that would be impossible to find, as long as it had the neck shape of my Fender. Members fearofnightmare
I dunno about that custom stuff, but I really want a white SG.
Members GuyaGuy
Varitone and a 3-way?hm.nice looker.yeah, i don't have a Dream Guitar either. there are lots i'd like to have/try but no holy grail i'm after. i don't even care about finding "the one" like a lot of players.the guitars i've been digging on most remind me of like 3-4 guitars simultaneously. like this one! Members L6Sguy
no 'ultimate' guitar in my future either. theres 11 kajillion guitars out there, way too many for me to even think about limiting it to one ultimate. zemaitis-grecos? i'd take six different ones. old jag? sure, i think i'd dig it. another '74 L6-S? of course. one of them set-neck hb'd teles? love one. agile harm? totally. buncha ibanez, aria, degas, cortez, and yamaha from the 70's? in a heartbeat. ricks, navigators, vox teardrop, another ash strat, and one of them short-lived godin tele-types, {censored} man. i couldnt even limit it to a hundred if i tried. Members ScreamCage
That Schecter is actually really nice. I thought they were just for Avenged Sevenfold fans *feels ashamed*...
Members ScreamCage
I don't really have a dream guitar, but right now I'm really digging the ES-125. If I had to make a list it'd be something like: (no order) Gibson ES-125 Gretsch Country Classic Jr. Fender Jazzmaster (everybody has them now, so I'd have to come up with a way to make it different) Maybe a Fender Starcaster, 'cause those are totally kickass. I'd also like a Guild S-100, because I've wanted one for years (I'm so Thayil's hoe).
Members Collapse
That Schecter is pretty nice, but I'm not really a fan of the switching. I want a ridiculous custom Parker, myself.
Members utsapp89
I've concluded my ultimate guitar fiddle would have to be some sorta hollowbody. A walnut 345 or a Gretsch Country Classic.
