Members GuyaGuy
will MF have any competitor other than zzounds now? i guess sweetwater, although they're not quite the big box that GC/MF is.

Not likely... It seems more likely since the Fed is now hiding the M3 numbers (how much money they are actually printing) and it is politically expedient to pass the buck of insane NeoCon borrow and spend credit card economics onto the unexpectely elected Democrats... Just wait the coming couple years there will be a proverbial turd and fan. Especially if the Democrats hear the groundswell for what it is... That is NOT go along to get along, thus investigations of constitutional crimes. I digress. GC grows, becomes more uneffective at selling inspiring gear... All they are doing is making the pie larger for creative motivated retailers to carve their niches... Of course first a few more weak gazelles whom have already surrendered will try to play the GC game and become food for lions.

Members The Friendly Ranger
Originally posted by spaceshot i've never had problems with american musical supply Yeah, I've always had good dealings with them. Their easy payment plan (without having to get a credit card from them like MF) is really convenient. Unfortunately, though, it seems that over the years their selection has diminished somewhat. Still, they do have some stuff that MF doesn't. I also think their website hasn't kept pace with MF's, which IMO seems faster and a bit more reliable. Members gil1
8th Street Music kicks ass.http://www.8thstreet.com/ Sweetwater's good. Else wise, Chuck Levins locally (for me), Musictoyz and Tonefactor for pedals ect. And Mercenary Audio and Atlas Pro Sound for Pro Audio. Who needs GC? I placed an order at Zzounds and one at AMS and they got them mixed up. Same company? If brains were taxed, the person from customer support surely got a rebate.I had purchased many times from AMS, but I don't think I've used them since then. For the last few days I've tried to look at some guitars from Music123 but I have gotten errors. I guess I saved some money, but I got my last electric guitar from Music123.
