Members bloodyfingers
Dunlop is to Jimi Hendrix as Michael Richards is to Seinfeld.
Members StompboxMan
If Hendrix was still alive he would not use them. There made for those who buy the name assigned to a pedal. Hendrix would have been more impressed with the better quality boutique wahs, fuzz pedals and univibes since 95 like Fulltone and ZVEX make. Members StratStevo
I have used a Jimi Hendrix Classic Fuzz for years as a Gemanium OD I keep the volume up and the gain down and it gives me an awesome Germanium Honk!. But it has recently been replaced by my new MI Audio Neo Fuzz. But for $79.99 its a great value for what I expect it to do. I even repainted mine so nobody could tell what it is at jams, only in the last year have I let even my closest friends know my tone secret! There now you know my low gain germanium secret Here is a sound clip from Musician's Friend, of course they are using much higher gain than I do in the clip. This is the only Dunlop Jimi Hendrix Effect I can comment on
Members erksin
I had an early '90s Fuzz/Wah - after I cleaned the puke off of it I returned it immediately. {censored} in a pedal, IMO...
Members capnbringdown
The fuzz face ri sucks. Don't waste your money. I had the rotovibe, too. While it's certainly nothing close to an univibe, it's not horrendous.

Mostly OD, but it sounds damm good for fuzz use as long as you don't turn the gain past 3:00, from that point on its kinda grainy/harsh, and it responds well to rolling down the volume knob on your guitar

Or are you referring to the level or fuzz controls on the pedal?

On the pedal, I use it with clean Fender amps right on the brink of breaking up, in other words I set my amp up for a bluesy sound then hit it with the pedal and it fattens it up, giving me more picking dynamics.
