Members dangerous dan
Anyone got any experience of this amp from Epi ? I'm about to upgrade to a Hotrod Deluxe pretty soon and noticed this one recently...... I'm guessing it should be loud enough to gig with, 30W, valve power amp and 2 x 12" speakers. Members i51423
The reviews I read on TGP were very positive after a tube swap. I'd really like to hear one.

Members L6Sguy
yeah, keep in mind that factory tubes in budget-minded amps are generally chosen for road worthiness (read: survival through shipping & receiving) rather than tonal superiority. should plan on swapping asap. also check out: peavey classics (especially the old C20) traynor's current tube stuffs old gibson/kalamazoo/danelectro/univox, still can be found under $300 (paired w/a 1x12, these can kick some serious ass)
Members dysorexia
swap the tubes and you have a good amp but consider still looking at the hot rod it still may work for you.
