Members Barnaby, Hardly
So this pedal intrigues me a great deal... Does anyone on here own one? Or has anyone tried one? Are they as good as they sound? (or should that be read?) I know they come up on Ebay *very* infrequently... Does anyone happen to know what kind of money they go for? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I'm pretty curious about this one... Cheers!
Members NITEFLY182
They were made by the guy who wrote the MaGic protocol Gibson uses on their new digital guitar while he was a student at MIT. I had one at one time and the build quality was absolutely horrible. Parts were all bent over on the board with leads that were way too long. The parts are all sanded so if yours breaks like mine did, you're {censored}ed. I still sold mine for over $300. They usually go for around $350 to $400. Do yourself a favor and just go buy a Digitech Turbo Flange. It does the same random sweep flange but better and more consistent.
Members Barnaby, Hardly
Cheers for the info & heads up. Have you come across any other pedals with 'random' functions? This is what particularly drew me to the Zvex Tremorama / Ooh Wah 2 and Mid Fi Glitch Computer... And obviously now the Rand-O-Matic.
Members NITEFLY182
Not a whole lot of modulation has it. The digitech ones are pretty good at really being random. The robotalk also does it. The only flanges are the Line 6 and the digitech.
