Members DylanWilde
{censored}, I meant to post this in the KEYS forum, again. . .Sorry(I spend way too much time in this one forum, I guess). I don't know how to delete posts, so I guess if anyone could chime in here that would be nice. . .Thanks - So I think I might go with the CDP100, the basic Casio digital piano that is $399. BUT, I am wondering whether people really prefer the Casio Privia PX110 enough to justify the extra $100 it costs. I played both, and found the sounds not too dramatically different, if anything the Privia being slightly better in sound only. The weighted keys are both great, and basically the same. But, in terms of the sound, how much of that is the onboard speakers? I know the Privia has improved speakers, but I will probably mostly be running a line-out from the headphone jack for gigs and such, and I am thinking the upgraded speakers are not really a deal clincher for me. I will probably just run the line out through an EQ unit to enhance the sound further also. So are the basic sounds of the unit, regardless of the onboard speakers comparable? I am just wondering if the PX is a giant leap ahead in fundamental sound quality. So, from anyone who has experience and a better ear for piano tones than myself, do you really find the PX110 Privia worth the extra 100 dollars it costs over the CDP100?
