yup...I recently downsized to a pedaltrain junior and I'm still managing to fit 7-8 pedals on there easily :D

I remember how a few people made a bit of an issue of the size of my original Mayonaise pedal. But, with the jacks on the back side, it actually didn't have a much larger footprint than an MXR sized box with jacks on the sides. But I'm glad I made the transition to small boxes; it is a selling point nonetheless. If you want a small box with jacks on the backside, you can always get a General Guitar Gadgets effect. They mount their circuitboards across the center, vertically, to have room for the jacks to go under the pots.

Even smaller, the DaMOAF V2. Like two pedals in one box with the jacks in the back. I used to have 3 distortion pedals on my board plus all my other goodies. Now I got one distortion pedal and a couple extra goodies.

well i can certainly see the logic in a push for smaller boxes all around, even if its only folks who wanna use tiny boards that it'd be helping. increased build-times and costs, stompswitches that end up quite close to each other (across a board of tiny pedals), and the fact that it'd largely improve things for a minute fraction of the pedal-using populace ---- i cant wait :freak:

i thought we already covered that angle.

theres this thing about 'right tool for the job.'

it probably also applies to the container in which one's tools are kept.

they are more comparable to vintage big muffs that go for lots of $$$$ and are often noisey. the reissue muffs are total ass.

skreddy has the tone, the size, and the quality. :thu:
