Members bondini
I mean, by the time you've plugged jacks in each side the footprint is pretty much the same as the original. Surely they could've got it in the MXR size box like the nanos, I mean Skreddy can do it.. ? ?
Members inscho
even plugged in its a few square inches smaller....I think EHX did fabulous work with the new line....if you want smaller just drop the coin for a skreddy, they are certainly worth it. Members bondini
I know! I've got a Mayo & it's wicked. I'd like a Zero but the LBM would save me

Members L6Sguy
stop bitching about pedal size, and get yourself a much smaller guitar. that one you've got is {censored}in huge.

Members skr3ddy
I remember how a few people made a bit of an issue of the size of my original Mayonaise pedal. But, with the jacks on the back side, it actually didn't have a much larger footprint than an MXR sized box with jacks on the sides. But I'm glad I made the transition to small boxes; it is a selling point nonetheless. If you want a small box with jacks on the backside, you can always get a General Guitar Gadgets effect. They mount their circuitboards across the center, vertically, to have room for the jacks to go under the pots.

Members 6StrngStrangler
I had a LBM and Double Muff, The DM sounded way cooler, the LBM was more harsh.

Even smaller, the DaMOAF V2. Like two pedals in one box with the jacks in the back. I used to have 3 distortion pedals on my board plus all my other goodies. Now I got one distortion pedal and a couple extra goodies.
Members L6Sguy
well i can certainly see the logic in a push for smaller boxes all around, even if its only folks who wanna use tiny boards that it'd be helping. increased build-times and costs, stompswitches that end up quite close to each other (across a board of tiny pedals), and the fact that it'd largely improve things for a minute fraction of the pedal-using populace ---- i cant wait

Get a medium size pedalboard that will be easier to use.

Members bondini
A larger board would prevent me taking it onto planes as handluggage, I'm not sticking in baggage check in, then getting off somewhere with my effects in Uzbekistan! Members SpectralJulian
So the basic consensus is that the little big muff isn't too big, it is just that his wood is too small?

I'm still learning about boutique pedals, but wouldn't be cheaper to just buy a Big Muff than to spend more money on a clone?
